1969 Road Runner facelift

Dave you just want to see what we're saying about you when you're gone.:sideways tongue::sideways tongue:

Roof painted yet?

I forgot to touch on the reason for shooting the roof white.

My car originally had a white vinyl top and I'm putting one back on.

Recently I talked with a friend that has a dark green 68 GTX with a white Vinyl top. He got the boar grain white top from legendary like I did. they painted his entire car the dark green metallic, including the roof. Then they stretched the white vinyl on the roof.

As strange as it sounds, you can see green through that white on his vinyl top.

It's one of those things that he has to point out to you, but it's there.

He said if he had it to do over again he'd paint the top white first.

So that's what I'm going to do.

Nope.. :icon_blackeye:

I slapped the wheels back on the primered plymouth and rolled it out of the spray booth last week to roll my old plow truck in for a quick and nasty paint job.

Long back story on the plow truck, but I'll spare everyone the non mopar story content and just flash a couple pics of "ole yeller"

It was my uncles truck back in the day, he's pretty sick with cancer and I figgured it would lift his spirits to see it fixed up and designated as the official deer camp truck for our deer camp.

Oh, and the roadrunner looked bitchin when I set it back down on it's tires to push it to the other side of the shop.

Dave.....Though maybe you lost a bout with a wolverine or overdosed on some lip smackin BBQ, good to see you around. Nice work on the Ford! Very respectable truck for camp and brightens up your uncles day on top of it. Top notch! Have a good hunt and don't be a stranger eh.

our rifle season is over, heading into muzzle loader with an open buck tag. Good luck to you as well eh. I'll check in after I put the deer hunting stuff away. I should have some down time between deer hunting and ice fishing where I can post progress on the runner.

Can't beat tem ole trucks ya-hey.Looking forward to seeing the runner back in the limelight.

Thats great for your uncle! "ole yeller" looks real good and be a good truck for the hunting camps.
