Huh,never seen anybody work on a car in an Easter Bunny outfit. You'll have to get us pictures. Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously, that fender repair looks great. Can't even tell where you patched it.
Pretty good afternoon in the shop. Some really dirty work cleaning inside front fender areas, including A-arms, brake drums etc.. Epoxy prime. satin black urethane, re-apply undercoating . Also welded fender nuts back into the places they broke out of.. Pretty decent afternoon, love getting some of that dirty work out of the way.
Well, I really want to drive the car again lol!
So, I will be satin black with a mix of undercoating spray, most of which has been under the car for decades and is actually doing no harm.
It probably makes no sense to some here but I will be happier getting the body and paint done on the outside of the car so I can enjoy a season of driving the car. Then next winter I can tinker with the underside. I know eventually I'll have all of the undercoating removed and I'll have color under the car.
But for now I plan on doing as nice of a job as I can with a black underside.
I'll try to take some pictures today.
Hopefully the fenders can go back on today.
