1969 Road Runner facelift

Looks Good Dave! It's so close to being done, you must want to work on it all the time to get it finished. Are you going to post a vid of it going down the road once it's finished?

Looks damn nice Dave! But I do miss the road runner on the hood.

you get any more shine to tha beauty, you're gonna need welders goggles to look at it!

Some midnight oil burnin tonight, one more coat of clear to go on the hood and truck lid which were both re-shoots.

And that's what hours and hours and hours of welding/grinding/filling/sanding/buffing will get you........Body like an arrow, reflecting like Glass. Sweet deal man.

Go to bed prop wash it's late lol! I'm waiting for my clear to flash so I can shoot my last coat on hood/trunk lid.

Sleep's over-rated Dave. I'll get plenty of that when I hit the dirt mattress. How did your final spray come out? Did you even go to bed?

I had about 6 mountain dews last night to keep awake for spraying that stuff. The effects of the mountain dew kicked in about the time I tried going to bed at 2AM this morning, couldn't fall asleep.

Gonna cross my fingers, step into some slippers and walk out to the booth for a look see now.

I'm having a hell of a time with all the cotton fuzzies that are floating around in the air this spring, Had my booth sealed up pretty good but some little ones found my clear coat, no big deal, they will buff out. I got plenty of clear on them pieces last night. I can definitely work with the results.

Time for a big cup of coffee and I'm back at it.

How come I keep seeing FORD's in the reflection! OH MY EYES!!! ha ha ha

go back a page or two...you'll see a bird in the reflection!

LOL...All jacked up on Dew! Good to hear the clear's on. I'd find the nearest Cottonwood tree and introduce it to my Husqvarna. Dang overgrown weed anyways. Good to hear you can get them out. Hopefully you're off getting some shut eye.
