I want to use electronic ignoition and avoid points.
Some time ago I saw or read or heard about a stock factory appearing mopar distributor but had the ECU built into the distributor and didn't require the orange ECU box on the firewall.

This does exisit right? Does anyone know where I might find one or can send a picutre of the inside of theirs?

I used a pertronix ignitor upgrade on my 318 a few years back. Only noticable thing...and only IF looking for it, was that the dist had two wires coming from it opposed to one after the conversion.
If memory serves me correctly I also believe I jumped my ballast resistor but I did that in such a way that the resistor was still there and hooked up; I just jumpered the terminals.

Hope that helps.

There are a couple company's making those I think malory, pertronics, and there was another i thought summit sells them. Only problem i have heard is the hall effect sensor likes to go out so keep a spare one in the glove box.
