1972 Viper Powered Charger

Yes they do but most people don't know so I just put fast back that way the muscle car guys can relate

I know what you mean as far as choosing what project to do next. I have a 72 charger a 73 charger and a 68. I thought I would do the 68 but the 72 needs no panel replacement. The 68 needs a bunch of panels (which I have). Just a major project. What kind of Buick?
Well, during this project, I also did a ton of work to my 1987 IROC. It's just a matter of scheduling, and how much money you're willing to throw at a project, at any given time..

Oh my! An IROC... I put that 87 tpi in the wife's 71 chevelle SS I built her. It has been a year and I still cant make that GM POS run right! I used a hot rod harness and ECU and the thing just dies when ever it feels like it. I hate that car and hate GM with all I am! It is a shop ornament and that is ALL it will ever be.

Not to bash the tpi but for the cost of getting those darn things to run right and the new computer system .you can buy the newer ls1 and be done. I had a problem with an 89 trans am tpi it wouldn't run I by passed the security system and it never had a problem

Probably shouldn't be hi-jacking such a neat thread here but. I bought the computer and harness ready to go. This thing will start first time every time. Then you go to drive it and push in the clutch at a stop sign and it dies. Changed every sensor and nothing changes. Called Hot rod harness and they checked out the ECU ...nothing wrong. I have owned 5+ GM cars in my life including a new vet a few years back. Never had a GM car worth driving home. Fact is the new vette never made it home lol. I hate them. But this is the wife's so I keep trying. I guess this is why I own 3 5.7 hemi engines and have never put one in any of my cars yet. I look at this thread with a viper engine with lust in my heart. Just don't want to go all in.

Yeah good point no more hijacking.
Never had that problem out of the race car I'll ask my brother in law he knows those things purity good now he enjoys racing them for some reason at least it's gm he used to like mustang s so ah he'll go up eventually. Anyways if he knows anything I'll msg you
