1973 Roadrunner Project

I think I like the blue lower, aluminum upper and ceramic header look. Hope it runs as good as it looks.

wow wow wow looking very very good thanks for posting the update :blob1:

Looks fantastic! I love the white interior with the dark green body color and white stripes.

Year one sells a Charger, super bee, and road runner restoration guide for 1971-74- you would do well to buy it there is answers to most of all the questions on the paint that you have asked. Nice looking car.

More than likely your car had a dark grey primer on the underside like most other Mopars with green oversray. The factory workers were supposed to coat the underside with paint but most workers didn't feel like getting on the floor to spray the green. The red drums were painted that way at the factory for cars with road wheels (magnum 500s) or the Rallyes. I have lusted after a 73 for quite a few years and if I found a car half as clean as yours I'd snap it up. Great color combo mixed with good condition make your find a once in a lifetime find. I love what your doing with it as well.

Very nice, looks like everything is fitting right, That is a nice 73 Runner you have!

I would love to see an updated picture with the car when she's done!

Wow! What an amazing find and that metal looks in great condition. I know what you mean about 73 and after being picked on but the 73 is one of, if not, my favorite car. I am biased though as it was my first car. Right now I am building a 72 that was my brother's first car but I always have a twinge of regret not finding a 73. Congrats on the find and I cant wait to see more on your build. If I was more confident in my work, I would post mine as I went, but my work is not as good as most on here.
