How do you go up 5 spots in one shot? Looks like you have to make unconventional picks who happen to mostly come through while everyone else goes with the usual favorites who don't come though. Not likely to happen very often, but I'll take it!

I saw only 17 in F/C
I saw only 14 P/S cars were entered
sad state of Professional NHRA drag racing
I wish they'd show Pro-Mod regularly they have 24 cars entered
I'm not really into the T/F Harleys "at all",
reminds me of the "poser Jet Trash"
T/FH they're barely faster than P/SM, yeah some with more speed,
but barely even ET any better, some rounds slower even,
if & when they actually get down the track !!
That NHRA/FOX SP1 shows, when the reg. P/SM aren't running...
I rather see P/M, S/S, T/S or Comp Eliminator even...

Congrats to '71dartswinger' (FABO) for the 2nd week in a row, 'cuda20' (FABO) and 'Nick2317' (FBBO) for sharing the Top Qualifier title of the 2017 NHRA Kansas Nationals with very nice totals of 22.5 points. '71dartswinger' and 'Nick2317' both picked the #1 qualifier in Funny Car, the #2 qualifier in Pro Stock and the #3 qualifier in Top Fuel. 'cuda20' picked the #2 qualifier in all three classes. Way to go!

We get another weekend off before the 9th race of the 2017 season, the 5th annual NHRA New England Nationals, June 2-4, at New England Dragway in Epping, NH. This is another low-altitude track (90' elevation) so if the weather conditions are right, the times and speeds could be epic.
As always, your picks need to be posted before Pro Qualifying starts on Friday, June 2 in order to qualify for all event bonus points. Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 4:30PM EDT (1:30PM PDT).
The New England Nationals entry list is posted on NHRA.com and currently shows 12 Top Fuel, 17 Funny Car and 13 Pro Stock entries, but the counts are subject to change.
