Good luck all in eliminations tomorrow!

We have 15 players starting off the 2016 NHRA "Pick 'Em game season and 14 different driver combos made up of:
* 5 different Top Fuel drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There could be one head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations if they all survive the opening round.
* 8 different Funny Car drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #5 qualifier Robert Hight (1 pick) and #12 qualifier Del Worsham (1 pick). There are also 3 potential head-to-head matchups in Round 2 of eliminations.
* 5 different Pro Stock drivers picked this week. No Round 1 head-to-head matchups and a possibility of three head-to-head matchups in the 2nd round of eliminations.

Good luck all!

Way to go Budnicks!
Sorry guys, I was confused
I "read" the PM incorrectly,
Thanks OC dart and everyone involved
Great job guys

BTW: Big Mouth John Force and Don Schumacher "got into it" Huh?
I saw both interviews
I personally believe Don Schumacher's story line over John's
Don Schumacher says John "bought" Schumacher's mechanics and offered them way too much money to go with Force
Schumacher racing won in the end, 2 wins, Top Fuel (YEAH) and Mat Hagan (YEAH!)

Nice job Bud!
That Force/Schumacher thing is somewhat amusing. I think it's interesting that Don accuses Force of ruining the sport by escalating salaries. Don has the biggest empire of them all in the sport. Not that he's over paying anyone, necessarily, but look at a guy like Jeff Diehl in comparison. It's pretty hard for the little guy to compete with the mega teams, and Don is in that second category. Some might say the mega teams have ruined the sport, from the little guys' perspective. I remember in the '60s when I walked into a school friend's garage and saw that his dad had a fuel slingshot dragster parked in there. Just about anyone could have a dragster back then. You won't see that anymore. Fun to watch the drama, though.

Gotta agree with you BEL.
Have the crew chiefs and crew members that have moved from other teams to DSR all moved only because they wanted to? Or were some/most/all enticed to the mega-team by higher salaries?
To me it's a case of the "pot calling the kettle black".
Schumacher is a good businessman and has built Schumacher Electric from a 400-employee company to over 2000. From what I found on the internet, his father built radios before becoming a bookie and winning a battery-charger company when the owner died owing him money.
Force on the other hand, came from absolutely nothing and has built his racing empire all on his own. I remember seeing him when he first started out and didn't have two nickels to rub together.

Schumacher did the same thing to JFR last year,
well end of 2014 season, last 3 races IIRC,
seems a bit hypocritical to me, he's no angle either...

Just a Billionaire S-R & a Millionaire J-F-R in a pissing contest,
probably all contrived for more camera/air time too, drama...
I wouldn't put it past either one of them...
Been happening for decades now...

It's called winning & a rivalry, super teams,
I personally hate super teams, but NHRA Pro classes
would be dead if not for them today...

JF 16 time F/C champ, driver/owner all in the family drivers
he lets the car talk usually, like a 20 time champion {?} overall
as an owner/driver, not just a bank account...

that ain't just talk

IMO; speculations from all my time in the NHRA & new petty super team BS,
Schumacher's {former driver, eons ago} pissed he got the same damn thing
done to him, he did to JFR too, when JFR was struggling losing Ford & Castrol
10's of Millions in sponsorships, all at the end of 2014...
