Congrats to Budnicks (FBBO) for grabbing Top Qualifier title of the 2017 NHRA Arizona Nationals with an outstanding total of 23.5 bonus points. He picked the #1 qualifiers in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock and the #2 qualifier in Funny Car. Way to go!
cuda20 (FABO) was right on his heels in the #2 qualifier spot with 23.0 bonus points. More great picks!
Good luck all in eliminations tomorrow!

We have 16 players starting off the 2016 NHRA "Pick 'Em game season and 14 different driver combos made up of:
* 5 different Top Fuel drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There could be one head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations if they all survive the opening round.
* 5 different Funny Car drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There are 2 potential head-to-head matchups in Round 2 of eliminations.
* 3 different Pro Stock drivers picked this week. No Round 1 head-to-head matchups and a single possible head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations.

Good luck all!

Nick, you're in this week.
You mentioned "lock this in" on your Pomona picks and I wasn't certain if you meant all 3 picks or just Matt Hagan. Since you didn't post any picks this week I went ahead and "locked" your Pomona picks in for Arizona.

Here are the results and point standings following completion of the 2nd event of the 2017 NHRA season.

Congratulations to 'Back in Time' (FABO) for being "Top Picker Eliminator" for the Arizona Nationals with an outstanding point total of 162.0 points with the trifecta: class wins in Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock. 'Gpuller' (FBBO) were right behind with 142.5 points with a class wins in both Top Fuel and Funny Car. His Pro Stock pick lost in the second round of eliminations. He also picked up ET bonus points and a new National ET Record bonus points in Top Fuel, and both ET and Speed bonus points in Pro Stock.

Nice eliminations picks Gpuller  congrats

Leah was my only real points in eliminations...
it was upset city, compared to qualifying speeds/et's
I went backwards :realcrazy: 2 spots

almost 3 weeks till Gator Nats :BangHead:, March 16th-18th
remember to pick bikes next race too

Just read on Competition.com that John Force and Robert Hight are switching crew chiefs and team members effectively immediately.
Jimmy Prock and co-crew chief Chris Cunningham and their crewmembers will now be with Robert Hight.
Mike Neff and co-crew chiefs Jon Schaffer and Jason McCulloch and Hight's former crew members will now be with John Force.
John's had pretty good success when he's moved things around like this in the past.

I read a little blurb about former T/F Champion Larry Dixon
is going to be back in T/F Gator Nationals
not sure how many races etc. just a mention he'll be
racing @ the gators next weekend..
