2020 10th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Are You Ready For Some NITRO?!!

Entering the "O zone"

crazy TAD almost in the 4's now

granted they're more like a Jr. Fueler, than TAD car
but that's the rules they have to play with

sad she's retiring so young too
her dad ol' racer Randy Myer is a great tuner too

a great formula for success:thumbsup:

NHRA Professional Classes
has always been behind the curve in payouts
but they get contingency money too

IMO it's the bottom of the tear in professional sports
& motorsports, as far as payout/prise money goes

Sponsors foot the bills, for racers,
not the NHRA per-say, the racers work for Sponsors
not really the NHRA,
(or considered self-employed, running under NHRA Sanctioning rules)
even thou they are the governing body for rules & conduct
the racers are all privateers/private contractors or paid by team owners
when applicable, in NHRA's mind or for income tax basis

"Allegedly" to a lesser sum, the fans helped the tracks meet ends
NHRA takes theirs off the top, from the gate & concessions too
it's a great gid if you can get it, it's their game to do what they will
the Tracks are just a place to ply their game

"Allegedly" TV deal/s throughout history now FS1 or FS2 & Fox reg. network
was supposed to help, to increase & get around that low payouts
but it seems it's more of an income for the admin. in NHRA,
not the org. as a whole or it's prizes/payouts

NHRA is supposed to be an "Alleged" non/not for profit org.
"Allegedly" they do it, they get away with it, by paying admin. more
when they make more income, so they don't have as much profit
to keep their non/not for profit income tax base standings
got all that from a good source & drag-racing for 35+ years
seen it all

unfortunately, it's always been like that forever

"Allegedly" the NHRA Admin. pay still goes up
& payouts are still really low

Thought I'd post that. Thinking about it's a natural aspirated engine is just crazy. Carry on!

* 5 different Top Fuel drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #7 qualifier Shawn Langdon (1 pick) and #10 qualifier Justin Ashley (1 pick). The next potential head-to-head matchup would be in the semi-final round of eliminations if they all survive.
* 4 different Funny Car drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. The could be a head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations if both drivers survive the opening round of competition.
* 5 different Pro Stock drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #8 qualifier Greg Anderson (2 picks) and #9 qualifier Chris McGaha (1 pick). There could be one head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations.
