Congratulations to 'Budnicks' (FBBO) and 'stroked340' (FABO) for sharing the 2024 25th annual Ford Performance NHRA Nationals Top Qualifier title with outstanding totals of 30.5 bonus points each. They each picked the #1 qualifier in Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle, and the #4 qualifier in Top Fuel.
'64BEL' (FBBO), 'memike' (FABO) and 'TT5.9mag' (FABO) shared the runner-up qualifier with 29.0 bonus points each.

I DVR'd it Eliminations
so I need to watch the actual race, still...
I did watch all rounds of qualifying today/from yesterday & Friday...
Some great passes after the big 1.5 hr delay, Billy Torrence rear end 'grenade' clean up
qualifying went into the evening, with mineshaft air at dusk, huge flames, fast track

should be a decent race

I'll see/watch later tonight or tomorrow early am...

Today, I was shocked they postponed the races left, got too cold
postponed it till 12m PST
after Kalitta had an explosion in his rear end/ring gear grenade'd at like 800',
made a huge gear oil mess again in the same lane as Sat
on a pass when he was already beat by his teammate, who crossed the line blew a tire
yet another one of these guys
Billy Torrence was Sat. did it, both took hrs to clean it up too
(wonder if it's a bad batch of gears ?, I don't remember any of that prior,
not like the past 2)
S. Torrence didn't do so well either, went out too early
& Anderson lost in the finals to Stanfield
Prock Rocket won again, set another record too,
Herrara won again too (21st (?)in 2 years so far)

I had 3 in the finals & 2 of the 3 won

They each picked the class winners in Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle, Their Pro Stock pick lost in the final round of eliminations and their Top Fuel pick lost in the second round of eliminations. They were each helped with ET bonus points in Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.

Here's your final "Tuesday Before the Event" reminder for the last event of the 2024 Countdown, the 59th annual In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals, November 14-17, at historic In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA.

Please post your picks before Pro Stock and Nitro qualifying starts so you will be eligible for all event bonus points. The first of the scheduled four rounds of Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 4:00pm EDT (1:00pm PST) on Friday.

* 16 Pro Stock Motorcycle
