2025 Mopar Spring Fling at Willow?

Haven’t heard back from Steve yet, but want to hear from CPW before making any further commitments to Lodging or anything else. Even if they cancel the Malibu Cruise, hard to believe a disaster this big will not impact the Show. Postpone, delay, or re schedule. This is the Reel Inn.

Brought a friend down today so he can get some pre op tests done tomorrow at Cedars Sinai. We are near the Peterson Museum. Came down the 101 to the 405 then on the 10 east a bit. No issues or hangups on the way down or in this area. We were near Woodley, mile or so from the park, while on the 101. Looked fine over there and the same here. I would imagine anything to do with the usual Malibu cruise is going to be a non starter for quite a while. Especially if the areas get hit with rain before May.

LA county is huge with 10.2 million people in it.

Los Angeles County (LA County) is one of the largest counties in the United States, and is larger than Delaware and Rhode Island combined.

The Malibu fire while destroying so many homes, is only a fraction of the area.

2 million people live between The Eaton fire and Woodley. About 1 million between Woodley and Palisades.

The fire was south of the city of Malibu. We might go to a restaurant north of Malibu. There’s other routes.

Airtel hotel is business as usual.

Cedars is near were I grew up and my mom and brother live. Would bike to the Beverly Center.

Those rates were done between Xmas and new years. So no. Just inflation

People that live in the cheap 3 million dollar homes of the Palisades aren’t staying at a hotel in the valley.

There are many that can’t return yet to there homes that are still livable.

Most will find rentals vs hotels very soon. Right now would be the spike hotel impact. I bet the Airtel has rooms right now.
