In the middle of a Cuda overhaul, just got the block back from machinist. about ready to pull the trigger on a stroker kit. With everything up in the air on quality, does anyone have any good or bad results on any part manufacturers? looking for a mid 10 to 1 compression ratio, hoping to achieve 500 plus hp and torque range, thanks.

The more you pay, the better the quality. For your performance expectation nothing wrong with an Eagle, Scat or Ohio Crank as options.

If it's a street car running on pump gas I'd aim for 9.5:1 to avoid potential detonation issues. I'm at 10.8:1 and need to be careful with timing, vac advance etc because of this issue.

yes the 10.8 to 1 is a little steep for sure, I've had a 12 to 1 barracuda back in the day 110 is expensive, but not afraid to add a little to 93 octane if necessary plus I love the smell of it burning. thats why i was shooting for the mid 10's tops.

You won't go wrong with Molar crank/rods. Pick pistons to fit what compression you would like depending on which heads you intened to use.
