Summit scat stroker kit vs 440 Source

My 470 had an Ohio crankshaft. It was built in 1998. In 2013 it came apart for a refresh. Crank and bearings were still perfect. Had many runs to 7000 leaving off the trans brake at 5400. Them quite a few tons with a nos fogger system turning 8000. Kim
I agree with 470 ci for a street car it's one of the best package, Do it with a 6.70 rod not with 6.535, the 6.70 uses 1.32 CH piston which is significantly lighter. I used Ohio and Molnar and like those brands, great service from Ed @ Molnar as well. Try talking to a member on our board Pro stock Tom he sells Molnar product. You'll be a very happy person with that

I have not, I have an Edelbrock RPM Performer intake and a Holley 950 on it currently. Dyno'd very well once jetted correctly. The 950 in my opinion is too large, but my builder wanted to dyno it with it on there. I am actually trying to lay my hands on a 6 pack currently tho LOL
