Hi Dave

That Cushman looks awesome, I love your handiwork! I'd say 75mph on it would feel very exhilerating!!

You've reminded me I need to upload some pics of my Dart to my gallery here. I am currently rebuilding my engine and will start a thread on that soon too. I'll put it on to my ever growing to do list.
I'm spending so much time in the garage atm....

I bet you'd be glad when the last of the scraping is done, and good luck with the fenders!

Hello All, The scraping is finished under the car.Look at the 4 speed tunnel and see how they cut it out,I couldnt believe it they used a torch.Anyways I took one fender off and everything looks good. The front of the fender has some fixed damage some bondo not alot.I will be looking for a non bondo fender at the nats Keep restoring.Dave L 001.jpgcoronet 001.jpgcoronet 011.jpg

Hey Dave. My lad skates (and falls) alot and calls it a "swellbow". Hope it doesn't last too long...

So that is factory floor mods??!! Looks like a road-ranger 18 speed would fit in there....

Hello All,Elbow a little better.Yesterday I primed my rear end housing.Today I think i'll paint it,and mess around cuting the old bearing off my axles. The parts came for my rearend 3:55 and green bearing.Dave L

Hi Dave, I've got a factory 4 speed as well, tunnel cut exactly the same way...I was wondering the same the first time I saw it too, Matt

Hello all, A little change in plans. The car came with 10.500 brake drum, although there was a set of 11" drums ,and all the hardware in the car when I bought it.I have everything but backing plates Lucky for me there was set on ebay did'nt want to buy them there but I need them.So I will wait for them to show up for paint.I worked on the rear today (almost done).I also cut the old trunk extension out I still have to remove the rusty lower rear quarter panel.dd 001.jpgdd 002.jpgdd 003.jpg

Hello All,Today I burned off my old axle bearings.I'm either lucky, having a good day or I learned a little from working at the railroad. To the machine shop to get my new bearings installed, another piece of the puzzle done.I looked every where for something to slide over the axle to use as a slide hammer I had one God only knows where it is.Maybe he will tell me where it is when I get there, or maybe he will lend me his. Hello All,Some more thing done before I go to Ebensburg The trunk lid does"nt fit very well on the left side of the car, after looking at it for a million hours.I found it was also hit a little and pushed in. I can't live with that. I'm taking the car to mccellan's body shop on monday. He looked at it and said he can put the car on his frame machine and fix that with no problems and very little bondo. After all its all about having fun and saving old mopars Dave Ldodge coronet 2 002.jpgdodge coronet 001.jpgdodge coronet 2 001.jpg[ATTACH

It was to my surprise there was some 65 coronet parts there and luck must have been on my side I found a near perfect Rf fender and that little filler piece that goes behind the trunk extension near the edge of the bumper, and the fender connector piece that goes under the grill.I called the body shop yesterday to see if my appointment was still a go.He said he wasn't ready yet the Honda he's fixing is still on the frame machine Thats ok I still have some chrome to remove. My little helper and I will be busy today Dave L

Hello All,Well the car has not left for the body shop yet.I'm waiting for them to pull the left rear.and get the trunk to fit perfect.I have found a garage in nanty glo Pa that dips parts to remove old paint and rusty scale. The hood, doors, trunk, splash panels are going for a dip.that will save on the old elbow. He's a Dart that I did a few tears ago to keep you entertained, untill I get moving again. All I'm doing now is shinning chrome stuff.
