Dave L, I got your h/l bezels stripped yesterday. I found some boo boo's, but nothing major. I will get the grille straightened and stripped today in between the "honey do's". Also will get some pics on here for ya.

Hello Zack,I'm a lucky person to find so much experience and knowlege on this site. Thanks FBBO.It has helped me through my build. The old coronet will look good with a shinny looking grill.Keep restoring. Dave L 150.jpg

I forgot to tell ya that the pass. side h/l bezel was pitted really bad after I got the anodizing off.....no biggie, I swapped it with one from my stash. By the time I would get the pits out, it would be too thin in a lot of area's, therefore too weak in my opinion to use.

Hello All,Looks like Randy McCellan and Don Patton have finish up there body work .The car is over at the paint booth for Larry Laferty to do a little edging.491.jpg492.jpg493.jpg

Hello All, The coronet grill looks brand new great work Zack. I just want to say a few words on the hemi 18 spline I had for sale. I had sold the trans to Jamie Passon but decieded to use it in the coronet.I'm sure glad I didn't sell it to anyone.I took it apart and found the main shaft collar between 2nd and third gear was broke.I decided to call a friend Bill Overcash to see if he had any parts for my trans. He had a main shaft leaning in his garage for years full of gears by the time I left Bills house he had box full of parts for my trans.I call Jamie for other parts I needed second gear, shifting hub sycronizers, struts, and rebuild kit.The shifting hub somehow gulded into second gear.Jamie was able sell me all the parts I needed for the rebuild. As for the parts I got from Bill in his box of goodies was a shifting hub.Lucky for me the main shafts for a Hemi trans are the same as 23 spline so that helped.I got the trans together and I'm going to use it.We have a local fab-machine shop here and a friend of mine also Tommy Himes. He did the machine work for the larger bearing retainer.Bruce Dunlap stoped and helped me lift it out of the way I want to say I should have looked more closely at that trans when I was trying to sell it.Lucky no one bought it and got riped.Dave L

Thanks for the compliments guys. I had the other bezel all buffed, and noticed "tiny little black dots" that didn't show up during the sanding. So off to sanding it again and this time "no black dots"....YEAH!!! So I'm still polishing and should finish tomorrow.

I was looking for "Rocky" in the pic above, lol!!!
