when i was back in my teenage and twenties i never worried about getting shot or mass shootings. sometimes you mouthed off got in a fight win couple an lost a lot. not a good fighter learned to keep my mouth shut. but these days there are a bunch of loonies, lately the shootings an car jackings, and i got two daughters and my oldest just bought her first house an she is an RN. proud dad, but the last thing i want to hear is something happen to her. when she turned 18 she wanted to shoot my 45. i said slow down girl you don't have a gun card, well guess who showed up at my door 3 months later and said lets go. we packed up went to the range and we had a blast. by the end of the day she was shooting pretty damm good. after a year or two of shooting she can shoot my .45 better than i can. my 9mm on the other hand I'm like a surgeon with that gun. i would like to see more of this. if some 6.7 giant breaks into her house an she has a .45 by the bed at least she has a fighting chance. my youngest is getting into it a little, i can't wait to take her next, then all three of us...i will have a ball hanging out with my daughters an blasting some lead down range. next will be taking the girls to some self defense classes with guns. i been to a few an learned a few things. i came across this pic the other day, thought it was funny but when you start thinking about your kids. its not funny anymore and you say damm right. :sFl_america2:
