Great job on the bars - looks very professional.

Moving along, slowly,. Back to the right 1/4 skin and wheel house, I cut off most all the bottom front of the old 1/4 while getting ready to do the de-hump mod. I will treat this rusty area after blasting., I think it still has all the strength it should since this is mostly surface rust.. I did not remove or replace this area on the drivers side and now wish I did, but I did blast and rust treat it as much as I could. I guess I can do/redo it later, I still have the piece I cut off of the new skin. This is a hard place to get rust treatment into without opening it up.

And I have the lip patch for the wheel house just about ready to go on. I guess this side will be mostly a repeat of the other, so forgive me but I like keeping a record of everything I do on the car with this thread.

I agree with Roger man! It will be fun to look at and read it all later, memory's of a great build! Ive enjoyed it all but interested in the how to's of the cage your building for this, and no, not thinking anything like doing it :).. everything is looking good on your build and i just ordered a couple sets of those butt weld clamps, sounds like they worked well for you and ill need to remember what you said about them (tighting to much) Good luck with this side as well!!

Kinda bouncing back and forth between the fender work and the roll bar. Not much left to finish on the bar tho. Want to go ahead and get that done. This pic is one of the lateral braces that will go on each side. I'm thinking that having the roll bar in and bolted tight that the car will stay straighter during my work, on the rotis especially. But I will loosen all the bolts before installing the engine and have all running weight on the tires, then tighten them when the car is complete. This is the same thought as with the sub frame connecters, which I only spot/tack welded till final running weight.

That roll bar turned out great! Now I want to put one in my car. :) The only problem with that is I still want my back seat.

I didn't see that when i was at Eastwood looking for rust prevention stuff 747, And i just ordered this stuff and thought i would give a fruit tree sprayer a try with the inside of rockers, drilling holes depending on thickness of this stuff around the plastic nozzle so it comes out at every angle, it would have to be pumped up a few times while doing it but im going to give it a try anyway.. If it doesn't work i may go with the same deal, pretty cool tool :)

Let me know how it goes but I bet it will be thick, I believe that kit includes nozzles that spray outward.

Thinking the same, thats why i bought spray also, we will see but seen where he did mention hard to get places and it was an idea i was and am hoping will work, if not what your doing will and yes, if i get to it soon enough, be glad to share how it works, they had to get it into a spray form some way :)

Great work on that Roll Bar, keep it up on the rest of the car.... she's going to be one fine ride
