Hey all, I just received shipment in of my stroker kit from 440 source.

I'm in the process of unboxing this kit right now and was wondering if you were at all interested if I posted pics and scans of the documentation as I un box this.

Its the full kit the only thing I'm using is the block all the oem stuff is gone. So if interested in seeing what one of these kits looks like as I'm un boxing let me know and I will post pics and scans of the documents I have received.

Regards Jamie

Welcome to the site Jamie- Post some pics of your car as well
pics during the assembly process would be nice-
Dont forget the end product & sound(video)

Thank you, I have been registered here before but lost my password and my e-mail server is now gone so I figured it was easier to just relog in under a similar name. My car is the triple black 69 Charger that was originally a in-line six car that I'm upgrading to big block. I figured if I'm going big I might as well go as big as I can, hence the 500 ci street beast I'm having assembled right now.

I just did not know if anybody was interested in what one of these kits look like as shipped. I'm very impressed with 440 sources turn around time esp sine it was a Canadian order and the size of order.

Nice, I would get the rotating assembly balanced before install though I have heard problems regarding the "balancing" job that they come with. Good luck and lets see some pics!!!

I got the fully balancing done by them but all will be double checked. I spent 20 years looking and finding this car so I'm not about to rush now.

Here is the full package unwrapped, the only thing I'm waiting on is the cam, starter and water pump and coil. I feel like a kid at Christmas.

I have a new big block K-member that is bare and the next step is building the front end on it. All new parts from pst and just suspension. The only thing I need to figure out is if I want stock ride hieght spindles or a slight drop. I want the car to have the classic muscle car "Stance" a bit low up front and *** up in the rear. I have the hemi leaf springs already and a fresh Dana 60 so now I guess its just suspension tuning there.

We always welcome parts **** here. Good luck with the build;please let us know how the heads work out. They're what I would consider using myself because of the "stock" look.

Oh,and welcome to our little slice of heaven;all the fun you can legally have without the threat of arrest!

It looks too nice to put togather. A 440 stroker engine is a great way to drain your savings account.

If you decide to go with a dropped spindle make sure they match up to the brakes you're using.

What kind of problems?

Looks like you made a dent in their stock! lol I see you went dual quad what intake and carbs are those? Also can you give an inclination to what this shopping list ran you? I'm sure it would be a good benchmark for some.

I'm also in Canada so I can feel your pain too from the current exchange rate

wow, did anyone notice this thread is 4 yrs old...lol...looks like the OP has not been on in a while...cash crunch?...part out?...i wonder

Dooooh! I never noticed it was that old. Guess the build didn't go well! Lol
