63 Only

I found and used these on the 64 fury rocker trim

Very nice tribute car. What ever happened to the original Savoy 2-door sedan? The guy (Pat?) that used to run Motor City Originals in Detroit years ago had it at the time. After he closed his business, I lost track of the car. A lot of us Mopar guys in Southwestern Ontario used to deal with him. He used to host a car show at his shop, and brought the Golden Commando car to our annual show at Sparta Dragstrip in Ontario a couple of times.

ARE the 63 and 64 Plymouth hoods the same ? I have a 63 but I found a nice 64 hood. I don't have my original , I only have a pin on fiberglass and I want to put factory hood & hinges back on. Thanks

The hood latch area is different

There were more changes btw ’63 & ’64 as the entire cowling area was changed.

Entire front clip will interchange, as a unit, between a 1963 and 1964, even though the cowl is different at the windshield opening. A friend races a 1963 Plymouth Belvedere with 1965 Belvedere front clip and tail lights.

I see the 64 hood has a chrome strip across the bottom lip with Plymouth embossed in it and the 63 hood has Plymouth in seperate letters across the hood above the grill. To bad, this 64 hood is mint !

Thank you Darter, I see now the difference, I guess I could weld up the holes on the 64 and drill holes for the Plymouth letters but I'd rather not. I'll be patient
