the big bubbles in the bumpers, the missing edges on the bumpers is all normal? You're completely absent for months but you can find time respond when I post pictures of the stuff? My body guy has to cut an 18x2 section out of one of the bumpers and glass in a patch. One of them you can see all the way through. Those lines are called split lines . They are where you bolt the seperate pieces of the mold together to make the big mold for your bumpers. Bumpers have many compound curves in them , thus, we have to have multi piece bumper molds. If you make a one piece mold, then you would break the bumper or mold getting them apart. These lines can be taken away with a simple piece of sand paper or even a sander called a D-A. Most well established body shops will have a D-A somewhere in their shop. We always let the customers QUALIFIED body shop perform that task. It usually takes less time than a coffee break. We have sold 18 of the front bumpers for the 64 Dodge since 1/1/14 and 22 of the 64-65 Dodge rear bumpers in the same time frame, and this is the first negitive coment that I have heard on those bumpers.

You heard it here folks, that's what you can expect if you buy from these guys. Their voicemail will be full, they won't return emails or pm's and when you raise hell about it they will send you parts that look like these.
I apparently have too high of expectations.

You are talking 2 different processes. We hand lay parts and AAR uses a bagging system , which is very complicated and expensive. I haven't heard from them in a while, are they still in business.I got a front bumper from AAR Fiberglass and it did NOT have any of the "parting lines" or bubbles or thin spots. Quality control on these parts from Sled City is a total farce.
I guess he can add a half inch of bondo to the whole right side of the bumper to level out the giant bubble. A half inch of bondo probably weighs more than the bumper. I've ordered a lot of fiberglass, I've never seen pieces this bad. Mold marks, waves in the gel coat, cracks even.....sure. but edges missing, spots where you can see through the fiberglass, bubbles raised up a half inch.....never seen it.the big bubbles in the bumpers, the missing edges on the bumpers is all normal? Got my new computer up and running about 2 weeks ago thanks to the GEEK SQUAD. This is the first I have been on a forum for a while. July, August and early Sept. are any Mopar shops busiest time of the year because of races and other Mopar meets. At least it is up north here. Thanks for the pictures of the bumpers etc on this site. Because of them , I sold 2 more sets of these bumpers , a hood , and a scoop tonight. As for your body man, OMG, I have never heard of cutting out a piece and putting in a section. If there is an imperfection, usually a slight coat of bondo will take care of it. And of course that "D-A" will have to be used . As for our expectations of you, be more of a "Hot Rodder" and realize what hot rodding is all about.
Yes, AAR seems to be still around. https://www.aarqualityfiberglass.com/catalog/766
Yeah, cut from a single block of billet.
