So as the story goes my 66 charger was used to tow a 68 hemi runner ( called the Ground Pounder ) to street races back in the 68 ( late 60 s ) here are some pics as the ground pounder sits today...

Wow, kool bird! `68's are my favorite and I am partial to vintage race cars. Is that towel on the hood the extent of the protection it gets from the weather? Shame!

My friends and I were at this place a couple of years ago and seen the 66 Charger and Road Runner,at the time not for sale, couldn,t see much as they were buried under parts in the garage. IIRC correctly the Runner doesn,t have many miles on it.We were looking at the 69 Barracuda 340 4 speed, was pricey for a car that needed everything. Hemikev, welcome to the site , the Charger sounds like a solid builder.

That's some very cool history! Thanks for posting.

With deep moral an regret we are saddened to make this post.
Hemikev has pasted away,.
We are happy thow that we were able to sell kev the 66 hemi[made his dream of being a hemi owner come true at an affordable price]charger which was lost for a time after the sale .
Presumption was the car had been cut up /parted out which saddened us as much as our lost mopar brother.

However with all bad an not so good news comes positive news,as it turn's out the the 66 hemi charger has made its way to Finland.
That is all we Know at present.
Anyone else have any follow up?
Please Post...
As well Ed Has also disappeared, anyone know where Ed Is??????
