Cool ,cruse nite now in the woodlands on sat.nights, hurry we need more Mopars!!!
I go up there every now and then it's close to the house. ...I prefer going to Montgomery, but yes we need more Mopars in Texas!!!!

Well started wet sanding and cutting the clear...Went out yesterday and found a 7" rotary buffer w/pads at Northern Tool for 1/2 off ( $49!) I got anotger $20 off for applting for a NT MasterCard, brought in my $20 off coupon so im in the thing for $9+tax...Lol!!!
I've never cut and buffed before bouggt the Maguires cutting/polishing system and am pretty happy with it. You can't read the fine print but this is the 1st cut.

Well did some more cutting and buffing last week and am pretty happy with the overall outcome of my body working & painting skills. I would not qualify as a pro but outside if a few flaws I think it turned out pretty nice....you have to look pretty close to see them...

Looking good, One step closer

Swapped out both door glasses and channel run this weekend. Was a pita getting it out of the door but went back in like butter!

I'm gettin' ready to do the same!
The hardest part was separating the lift arm from the guide. Had to roll the window up just enough to get the roller on the very end of the guide, the with the vent window partially lifted out pull the bottom of its channel run and it will pop right out.
1st side I listened the rear guide and it didn't really help, pull the passenger side completely out 1st and it didn't make a difference either. The FSM says to slide the window out of the rear guide It allows you to slide everything back so you can get the vent window assembly out.
The littke plastic guides that come with the runs suck. The pin kept falling out, ended up having to super glue it together...pita!

Dang.....the windows in a sedan are much easier!

Really??? I figured those would be tougher!!!
You making any headway on yours?
Made some head way last summer. Got it rolling again and now it has been rolled into the storage trailer lol

Well it doesn't seem like a lot but I have all the locks and handles installed. All of the window felts have been replaced. Unpacked the vinyl top and laid it out so it will relax. Going to try and install it next week.
Wiper motor and linkage installed, ac blower unit completed.
Trying to decide if I'm going to do the GM OD conversion...when I hold the adaptor plate up to the mid mounts it looks like I would have to do some tunnel mods...which I dont want to do...may save up and go with GV later on...

Made some progress today.... never did a vinyl top but pretty happy how it turned out.
Still need to trim and put the chrome on.
