Started razor blading it, then DA, finally decide to use the strip disc that worked really well. I've gone through about 6 so far, still have the trunk to do...

Me to i love the strip discs until they catch a edge and explode lol by the way your car is looking really good nice work

My father in law and a friend are helping me get ready for a big weekend by removing the doors, plan is to have the whole thing stripped and in epoxy so the body work can begin!
Went ahead and ordered the Sherman trunk extensions and the lower rear quarters...

For my body working professionals, with all of the concave and convex lines on this car, what size/brand sanding blocks do you guys recommend? I have some of the Durablocks, I think the longest is 16", should I get a 24"?

Get the 24 if you can for the quarters you can get away with the 16 tho nothing smaller on the quarters

Got a quote for media blasting the rest of my car yesterday 600 to 800 dollars told the guy the car is 90%striped and has no floor pans from front to back so back to striping and wire brushing the rest this weekend lol

Ya I checked with several of the Dustless guys they all wanted $1500+/-... crazy!
I've been using a small 3 gallon in my engine bay, plan on doing the jambs with it too...
I'll go ahead and order a 24" block too.

Got some more parts in. @YY1 was right about the trunk extensions they showed up and said they were for a Charger/Belve, my order said 67 Coronet and the fill neck hole was missing. Called them up and said that due to the variances in locations they quit punching holes in their products...oh well I just need the lower half anyways...
Almost ready to cut them in!

They look pretty good pretty much all the aftermarket stuff has to be fabricated to work had to do they same with my cowl all part of the journey my friend

Ya the quarters actually look pretty good , haven't been by the car to see how they line up but I'm sure it will be better than all the rust & Bondi that's there now!

Yes anything is better then rust and bondo my car had 1/2 in of bondo on the drivers side quarter by the door lol took me less then a hour to get the dent out lol

I've been pretty lucky not too many dents, the worse is in the door, it looks like the scrapped something and it creased it.
I've already dollied a lot of it out but is still needing work...

My passenger front fender has a rust hole and my drivers side has a rust hole in the door but should be a easy fix

I think for the most part, missing a radio and ac vent controls.
Took the aluminum door panels and rear seat panels off and going to go back with the OE style.
I'm trying to gather up all my parts that I will need to make it a 500 clone. I think I have everything except the 500 emblem for the glove box door.

If you need tge 67 fenders there is a guy on CL that had some fairly cheap. I thought about buying for spares...but if you interested I can pm you the link.
