68' Charger build

Ahh, Pardon me but! I would park it beside the garage and make sure i finish that one later! This i need to show my son in law, i had them he still trys to keep them but restos aren't something he does or can afford someone else to do, thats cool and Mopar is our favorite but we cant forget the fun times, rides, fix that bad boy up!!! Nice 78-79! he had the 78. i had the 79, i cant tell the difference without seeing more, then i would be probably wrong lol but they were cool old trucks. Honestly im guessing 79! Id keep it!!

78' f250 titled as a 150. I didn't like the coil sprung front end, it road to nice hahaha. I honestly wanted to lift It taller with out a body lift so I got a 250 frame and swapped it all over to that so now I have 12" springs in all corners on 46"s

some parts that I've started to clean up. I chose to go darker on the grill with the gray and went with a matte black on both the dash and grille.

Like the grill, I also painted mine darker and the dash looks sweet. Congrats

going to get some pictures of the fenders this week, they are fitting a lot better than I expected. the AMD quarter panel to the AMD door skin is a completely different story though, the body lines top and bottom line up great but the center line is off by and inch or so, UUUUUGH.

That grille can be a major pain. I spent the winter fixing up mine. What is that switch you have mounted where the brake light goes?

the switch is my 3 way switch for my linear actuators to replace the vacuum ones for my headlight doors

I agree, the cluster looks great and that grill will look cool with the darker look!!

looking good love the dash and the grille nice work

Passenger fender compared to all the other AMD stuff fits pretty nice and some work on rear seat belt shoulder harness. Rear speaker mounts were cut into a little so I got a replacement to move them back a little so I don't loose my tunes.

dam b68, looking good and that dash is spectacular. and the grill too.

Im probably WAYYYYY behind the game but I discovered www.ecsautomotive.com and got all the stuff to redo my vin tag and they gentleman I was in contact with via email and phone when I ordered my stuff was probably one of the nicest guy to deal with, great company. Also RMS, can say enough good things about the people over there, I think they would bend over backwards for their customers. That's my PSA for the day, now I return you to your regularly scheduled charger build.

Very nice work. I was wondering about the AMD fenders myself. Nervous about the money for something that doesn't fit right. How'd you address your body line alignment issue? Keep up the good work....

I was told some metal filing will pull up that body line as long as its done evenly and slow enough to match the door and quarter. The advertising they do about thickness is pretty dead on too. My only issue with AMD was the quarters had some spots on the main body line that you could see from and angle. I contacted the company I got the panels from and they contacted AMD. AMD said they know of the issue and gave me a credit. Dunno why they don't tend to the issue.
