You're making some great progress. Brings back memories from a year ago on my 69. How did you go about lowering the rear?

Looking good! Hope to be closer to where you are as soon as I can get my door skins and right fender. Defiantly love the R/T badge on the back, thought about making mine a "faker R/T". Just think the badging looks better.

the rear is lowered via a thin leaf pack, sitting at 2 leafs right now ( metal leafs, not a composite ). Not sure how I like it yet. I would want a traction bar of sorts and the nice ones run $300+ so im at a cross roads. Im thinking it might be worth ditching the leaf sprung rear all together. After the leaf packs, shocks and traction bars ill be close or at least over half of what I would spend for a RMS street lynx set up. So I need to decide pretty soon.

I'm really liking the direction your headed in, this Charger is looking mean as hell:evil7:. Like the ignition location, I also mounted mine there and filled all of the marker lights. I'll be watching this one closely. :headbang:

the tti headers fit way better than I would have thought. Cleared the steering and body, not an issue.

wow 68, it is looking fantastic. i like the rear speaker tray and the roll bar looks awesome and clean looking. keep posting i gonna like this one right along with the other 10 im watching...lol

Scrapped the leaf spring idea and went with the RMS Rear. So if anyone is looking for a new leaf set and shackle set let me know. The RMS rear is really nice just takes some time to locate and measure travel. Going to have to trim the original cross member for the shocks and maybe alittle tweeking of the top links and then its final weld time. Will be sitting about 4 inchs off the road. The march bracket doest work the greatest with my GM style alt so I will need to play with that alittle but the March pulleys look really nice. Got my remote reservoir steering pump today, just waiting on my bracket at that gets mocked up next.

Very nice, hope your planning on cleaning those heads up :poke:

hey 68, when you hook up the power steering are you gonna hook it right up to the pump or you gonna put a regulator in between. a couple guys told me it was to much pressure. some say it will handle it. just curious what you thought.

oh yeah i want that street lynx...lol

thanks, i got the high volume pump on my 6.1. for some reason i thought you had the same thing. thanks for the info on those flow plugs. that might do the trick.

Making a new gas pedal, I REALLY didn't like the original style at all. Placing a new radiator, the core support got in my way so a little trimming fix that. The RMS rear is in and looks really nice. I don't think it was designed to ride at the height im setting it at but after some trimming it will work just great. Got my grille all cleaned up and painted, just need to bolt it back together and put all the shiny stuff back on it and it will be ready to go. A lot of mock up with the aftermarket stuff right now but in the long run will really pay off once the cars painted and will make for no headaches at that point.

RMS lynx rear is in and sit'n low, sump kit is on the tank. mocking up all the brackets and mounts I need for the coil bracket, fuel reg mount, and remote res for my power steering pump.

Is that a Dana 60 on there? I just finished my street lynx a few months ago as well. Sits super low. Nice build!
