I said I'd have more questions so here's another, how do the windshields go in? Forgive me but my car was disassembled when I bought it and now I have to figure it all out, Looks like just a seal. Mine will be painted soon and then I'll be buffing the glass and installing it, Thanks

There is not a gasket for the rear, only the front. The guy that puts mine in always puts a dab of sealant in the lower corners on the front for extra insurance though.

I've seen where they fill the whole void with sealant, I guess it make sense seeing how water can just lay there.

getting doors ready to spray on the clausens

Hell yeah great to see your progress Charlie! You'll be on the road in no time. And very helpful link to the windshield how-to, how big of a PITA was the install in your case? I was planning on paying these guys to put mine in since I have to buy the glass from them anyway, but your install looks great

it took about 45 min,,i did not use any sealant,it was very easy!! when i get more money i will buy a new windshield & use sealer,it looks to be the original glass & it pretty rough lookin.

Love to see paint, I have the same dilemma a bluish windshield that is otherwise fine "might use it temporarily". Look'n good

blocked the fenders for the 15 millionth time, sprayed the clausens & put on the seam sealer.
