69 gtx

Thank you all for the kind words for Milo, means a lot.

69, do you recall the bolt size for that lower grill support you just put on,i do not have bolts for mine at all so i need to get some for future installation of my lower grill support. thanks

Well good news Milo is back home and doing well. We have him on a special diet and giving him IV injections every other day. He has his appetite back and back to his old self. I know this isn't a cure but it will buy him a little time. As long as he is happy and doing well we will continue the treatments. Kinda put the GTX on hold for just a bit to spend time with him. If he feels up to it I might take him out to the garage with me this weekend. I need close supervision ;0)

Great news 69 time is all we ask for, a lot good things happen in time and memories they all are priceless.

Well got my trunk seal in. Went in smoothly. Having it clamped in place for a week helped I think cause the corners didn't try to pull when glueing down.

Did make a mistake ordering, note 68-69 Dodge B body trunk mats are not the same. Don't know what I was thinking but should have ordered 68-69 Plymouth B body mat. Also a side note I also ordered a cigerette lighter, year one sent me a generic lighter that had a black plastic knob with a flame on it. Not exactly period correct so it's going back too. Not much progress but some. Was good to have Milo with me though!

Mr. Cope called and my 727 with Gear Vendor OD is on it's way. Should have it Mon or Tues :hello2:

nice very nice bet the wife wasn't happy about loosing all those close line closepins:headbang:

Snakeyes I actually sprung for those so she will have more now.

That's awesome news! Please fill us in on how you like that Gear Vendors O.D. I really thought hard about buying one since I love the snappy shifts of an automatic so I'd love to hear how they work. Your car is looking fantastic too, great work 69.

Congrats on the Buck!!!!!!!!! Nice one, I landed my first wall hanger this year but not that big (18"W 8 pointer).

Glad to hear Milo is back home and you're getting some quality time in with him. I'm glad to hear they were able to give him some more time and a decent quality of life! that's all that matters

Goon thanks! woke up this morning and he was barking at me wanting to go for a walk. So even though it was -5 wind chill we went, twice! He's doing great and I'm making the most of it. DSCN2203.jpg

747 thanks for the complement on the Buck. It was a nice bonus. I really like hunting with the guys, and getting a wall hanger for a reminder is even better. Sounds like you got yourself a very nice 8. I will let you know on the tranny but most likely be late summer before I have it up and running.

that is a beautiful site, man's best friend and pretty snow.

Yep, Milo looks good, and happy.. He reminds me of one of mine. I remember the 1st time my Skip saw snow, or ice actually. He went running out across the 1st half of the yard, slid the 2nd half, and busted his buns into the fence. LOL

Thanks DK & Johnny. I pulled all the clothes pins off the trunk seal and shut the trunk. Looks good and should settle down just fine now.

Well haven't been doing much on the car, been spending as much time with Milo as possible. But I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a 6 pack set up from Jegs. I saved a little by ordering 71 carbs instead of the 69-70's. Wasn't correct for the GTX so the #'s don't matter to me. I didn't order the lid because I wasn't sure if the air grabber lid is the same or different than the A12 lid. I have the air grabber lid so waiting till I find out before ordering. I'll be ordering a repop A12 base soon.

Sweet! A sixpack always looks good under the hood.

747 I flipped back and forth on single 4 or 6bbl alot. Finally I decided if I wanted to reach my MPG goal I'd have to go 6bbl. Besides if I got the hood I better have the 6bbl. Kinda like a woman wearing a padded bra, false advertising!!!!! :imho:
