Also does anyone have a recommended person for wipermotor restoration?

You may ask Mark (moparmark) he may have a used one that works right... or know someone who restores them...

Wow! Great car and judging by your plates you are just across the interstate and a little north of me. Pm me if you want to meet up sometime!

Will do PP1RT! Here's some pictures of the clear lake car show over the weekend.

Sorry 69 I just saw your post now on the A12. Double sorry because the cars not local right now. I have it up in Minneapolis (where I'm from) having it refreshed. I don't have any pics of it at my disposal. I won't be able to post any pics until I go up there to get it in September. Wish I could help you out.

Try a Google search for it. I had to do that a number of times to get reference on the A12 as well as the firewall. I changed the position of the drainage tubes to make them a little more functional.

A little bling for the quarter window and a trial fit of the air cleaner & element.

It looks like you have the drainage tubes on there. Glad you found a reference.

Nope it's just the hose on the center carb, still need to get that done. Sent my wiper motor out tonight to Passion 4 Mopar to get restored should be back in 3 weeks. Bumpers go out to Souix City Chrome to get re-chromed next week. Anyone have a recommendation for a rattle can paint that looks like Zinc? I tried cold galvanized but it looked like gray primer.
Thanks!

Eastwood sells some decent paint if you are not trying to have the exact plating.

Also, I used Tri-City Plating for our bumpers. Lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car.

I decoded my bumperjack hook and it looks like it's for a 67 Polara, Monaco, or Fury 2533419, I need a 2856116 for my GTX any one have one or looking for the one I have?

So did a little work last night. Bead blasted pedal assm. parking brake, some misc. brackets and my wiper pivots.

So you can see they were a little crusty. I soaked them in the solvent tank to free up some of the crud before I started.
As you can see I wrapped a rubberband around the crank end to keep silica out of the housing. I also used duct tape on the other end to cover that end. I tried to barely cover the opening and made sure I pointed the nozzle so it blew over that edge to clean.

Then I peeled the tape off and put it on the other way to get what the tape had covered. After blasting that area I peeled the band & tape off wiped the area off then wire wheeled the area that I couldn't get.

You can see the blue from what the tape covered the first pass. Now I'll paint the arms and top with a zinc paint. Next will be seal kit from Schumaker and then instal. My wiper motor is getting done as we speak so it will be the first thing back under the dash.

Any luck at the swap meet?

I need to get to that show one of these years and check it out. Great looking cars. Thanks for the pics.

Picked up some small stuff from Mega parts. I did about pass out when I asked a guy how much he wanted for the 68-69 B body jack hook 125$ Amazes me how some people want to get rich flipping parts. :angryfire:

A guy really needs to take that into account when buying a project. So many worry about rust and #s matching but don't think about the other things that add up to thousands of dollars at times. So many parts like that have been cast aside and lost. Intakes, exhaust manifolds, carbs, air cleaners, jacks and spares......

It's good to have spares parts to trade sometimes.

So what's the average going price for a hook? I was thinking I might go 50$ only because I got a complete jack for 5$ and figured I'd splurge for the hook. I might not though as I probably would never use the bumperjack anyway.
