Where did you find this? Looks like just what I was looking for!

It came in the factory service manual I shelled out $80 for off e-bay or amazon, I forget which... I've posted it several times here on other guys threads but may not have it on my thread. I did my car with it., you have to factor in unlevel floors.

I was just online looking at those last night, will get one ordered! Also all you guys who have completed restoration, could you list maybe the top five things that stalled your progress that you didn't expect, other than body work. Like a long turn around on certian items getting plated or rebuilt. Trying to get orginized so I don't find myself waiting weeks because I didn't see something coming. Grille, bumpers, wipermotor, rechroming ect. Also any good people you used for a job. Propwash, Tallhair, Budnicks?

Some of the vendor's I've had good luck with:

521 Restorations (sheetmetal)
Summit
Rock Auto
Legendary Auto Interiors
Megaparts
TCP Global (auto body supplies)
R/T Specialties
440 Source

Funds were the biggest hold up for me. Engine machine work took longer than expected, as well as trying to finish up final body work before paint. Chroming took a month to get back and it took me 40-50 hours to redo all the stainless trim. Door alignment took me about 10 times as long as expected.

Glad to see you're making some progress again! and my project isn't finished yet but I can say for sure that the grille was a lot more work than I had planned for, although Charger grilles seem to have a lot more to em than other models. Wouldn't think yours would be too bad.

Thanks for the input guys! Getting the wing vent frames, grille, tail panel, steering wheel, & rear lense bezels ready to ship away to be redone. Sending them to Special T's Restorations in Ill. has anyone had Bill do your stuff? Got my Cal trac mono leafs in the mail last night. I need to do a quick check there as I think I got the wrong offset front hangers. I was told no one makes standard length offset front hangers so I may have to butcher them to make them work. OH well I guess I'd have been more suprised if they would have bolted right up! Daytona kid had mentioned in his post about the stud bolt pattern being about .12-.150 off and I told mancini to double check everything before shipping but I guess they don't read to well.

OK I'm going to start on my grille while the weather doesn't seem to wanna break here. Need some help on correct colors, black argent ,& silver for the grille & bezels. Should I get fiz cans or should I spray it? The grille also has a slight wave on the lower horizontal piece, do i dar try to warm it up and straighten it or leave it be? And finally I think I may have found a donor grill that has the piece that are broken/missing on mine. What's the best method to graph these on. epoxy/glue? Thanks for you input! This is going to be a restomod so all I care about is whats visible. I don't care about taking it to show to have some guy nit pick it to death. Like the rubber stuck to my quarter panels!:icon_fU:

Well I went to Chi-town over the weekend and picked up some bling for the X. Trunk finish panel, headlight grille bezels, bullet turn signal indicators for top of fenders, and turn signal lenses for the front. Also dropped off my tail light bezels, wing vent frames, for Bill T's to redo. He did a A+ job on the pieces I picked up. Very happy with his work. I'll post some pics tonight. was a long day yesterday but making progress.

We need to see all that stuff! I'm jealous!

On the grill I used the two part epoxy "plastic weld" I think Speedy (Speedfreak) did as well, Hunt used some sticks that you basically used to weld it together and Charlie (CDR) used ABS and Acetone to make his own ABS so I guess you'll have some choices. When I did mine I found a dremel and small wire wheel to be very helpful for prepping the plastic for repair and even beveled all the cracks to get as much glue it the joint as possible.

Pictures don't lie!!! I do imagine it cost enough but it is some great work, something some advertize and don't get it done.

Well I'm headed to Texas tonight to pick up a grille, side molding AC dash and dashpad, and rear bumper and brackets. And if I'm a good boy maybe a ride in a 69 Hemi GTX :headbang:

So I got the vents out & apart. I need to paint all this stuff but are the outside vents dash color or are all of them black? They appear to have a rough finish flat black finish now. Any tips welcomed!

Good news US Car Tool sent me a note and they should be releasing their 68-70 B body mini tub kits this week, can't wait to get mine!!! #bigasstires!!!!!!
