That way the AC hoses will lay right with the heater hoses. I'll start ordering fittings and line after I get the radiator and condenser set for the last time. I think after my 5th trip to the parts store I may have the right belts for everything! I was thinking of doing the AC lines in braided line so they wouldn't be so big and bulky. But I'm not sure if that'd look good. What do you guys think.
I know a lot of guys run a setup like that but I'm going for the passenger side low mount option!

Picked up a new voltage regulator from Autozone last night. I saw where guys use this one and attach the OEM black cover on it to make it look OEM. Also the have a promo where they will give you 10$ store credit for old car batteries (5 per trip) so looks like I will be bringing in some of the ones I have setting around .

I found a buddy seat which was missing, and went with the red stripe instead of red because I thought it tied in better with the grille & trunk panel.

Does anyone know where the A12 code would have appeared on the fender tag? I was thinking of getting a separate one made that said A12 & the code for the red stripe. To put on the car. I know it wasn't a option but thought it would be a nice touch for those that like to look at those tags. I'm sure I'll get lots of, hey they didn't make these....

So had a good weekend on the car, finally got all the right belts. Make sure to put the belts on before the fan if you can. Also the lower radiator hose to make your life easier.

The easiest way to do this I found was to get the first bolt started about 2 -3 threads then pull the fan back out to start the next one. Once you get the next bolt in the hole push the fan in to put pressure on the head of the bolt while you thread it in, repeat.

So once I got the radiator and shroud installed I had some pretty good gaps at the top and bottom. I used some 1/2 inch self adhesive foam. It filled the gap nicely.

So here is the voltage regulated I got from auto zone and the oem. I removed the covers for a switcharoo.

I bought this for the alum. radiator/waterpump.

Here's a picture of the foam filling the gap on shroud.

My 69 GTX is a St. Louis car as well! Mine has a code for the optional rust package lmao.

I have 3 or 4 of the solid state ones from a seller on ebay. Switched over my 62 and running the same setup on my 69.

By the way, where does that anode screw in? Great idea as I have an aluminum radiator and water pump.
