Well I'll be glad when this week is over! Been working OT last week & this week. Had a hot job that needed finish for deadline. Been working 12s & Saturday. Looking forward to getting some garage time this weekend, I hope. Hoping I can get the bucket seat tracks blasted and painted this weekend.

I enjoy a good break, even if it is work, to keep the motivation up to work on cars.

Ready to hit it hard again, done with overtime now, for a while.

I have been patiently waiting for you to say that!....

Now it is time for some OT on the X

I agree Justin. BTW does anyone repop the pieces that the headrest slides into? Just the chrome piece on top. If it's pot metal it doesn't seem feasible to rechrome, like the seat medallion.

Well I finally got the garage cleaned up to my satisfaction. I have a bad habit of working right up to the last minute then hit the lights and lock the door. Spent all day Sat. cleaning. Found some parts I was looking for and did an inventory on interior parts. I'll post some pics at lunch time. I did manage to do a little work.
BTW I'm updating my insurance policy on everything. Turns out I'm way underinsured. I had triple the value in my gun safe that I thought I had.

Pics or it didn't happen, lol......

Do we need to light a fire under something?

Yes fire lit! So I found these items that were hiding in plain sight.

I installed the ground strap.
Also I had to use the screen nut off my old washer motor. The new one didn't come with the screen. This is the first item that I didn't replace or refurbish.
BTW the original pump works, if anyone wants it they can have it for shipping.

Next up was the disassembly of the buddy seat I bought of ebay a year or 2 ago. It had been recovered somewhere along the way. Going to call Legendary to see if the make a kit or will sell me the needed material for my guy to recover it. Photos to follow.

Tim

I will take the washer fluid pump if no one else has claimed that...

Justin

So here's the buddy seat. I'll try to document this fairly good as I haven't seen very many of these. As a disclaimer though I'm not a expert on these.

As you can see they simply just cut the old cover off and didn't remove the hog rings. The bottom foam came off fairly easy.

This is the top piece that folds down. note the plastic cover. I think RC is looking for one of these. I need to verify this piece as I thought I saw one with metal stops. Either on this piece or the bottom one.

This is the piece as it came out of the foam. It was a little tricky as the foam had rusted to the metal pieces and took some time to get it off without destroying it.
