69 RoadRunner- A4 resto

That looks great. I did a factory A4 X9 for my "for sale" resto and the first time I drove it I got 2 guys telling me that is the best looking color combo they had ever seen. I have to agree I wish every day I still had it. GREAT WORK keep pluggin away at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that is beautiful!! I don't know if I've ever seen this color combo before. Very nice!!

Freak'n awesome, Wow I really love that color with the stripes. You better wrap it in bubble wrap for the assembly haha. Love it

4 months? lucky Bastard....
I have learned my lessons with body shops over the years. This time I found the guy I wanted and waited my turn; I couldn't be happier with the quality, professionalism, or timeframe. If any of you want the contact info I'd be happy to pass it along.

I got the car home from paint today- less than 4 months start to finish. I am very happy with the finshed product- everything fits well and the paint is amazing! I'll post more pics soon...View attachment 142762

wow she's a perty girl, looks awesome...love the colors

I got some time in on the bird lately-motor and trans are in! Brake and fuel lines are in, so are the e brake cables. Wiper motor and linkages are in, so is the heater box. Most of the wiring is in. I'll keep plugging away whenever I get time.

nice thanks for updating with these photos :headbang:

I love that color and the engine looks great sitting in it, awesome job!

That looks fantastic Bill thanks for the update. Did you use high temp exhaust paint on the manifolds? Nice brace there for hoisting the body up.

I had them blasted and high temp powder coated cast iron color, then painted them on the motor with engine paint.

Thanks Bill. Looks pretty neat and reminded me of some marketing photos's of engines back in the day. Hopefully the powder coat will keep them cool enough for the engine paint to hold which is probably a pretty safe bet.

Update with pics!

It's been a while since I posted an update- Here's a few pics of where I stand as of today. I'll finish the TTI exhaust next weekend, and maybe work on the side glass. I hope to have it done for Carlisle this summer.
