Dean - your car is ahead of mine, and it looks like a really solid car with very little rust. You should consider yourself really lucky.
While mine is a California car that is in relatively good shape, two years just sitting out in PA weather took its toll. The more I look, the more I find with my car that needs replacing. As someone told me "these cars eat metal". Boy is that ever true!
Looks great so far - good luck with the build as it progresses!
I've done a lot of bodywork over the years and a fair bit of salvage. The aftermarket panels for newer cars have been hit or miss. So I'm worried about trying an amd fender. But I think I will get one and make it work. I have a new amd hood the quality looks good but I have not fitted it yet. Do you have any finished cars?
Same here on the body side of things,I don't believe they compare to the usual junk! A friend of mine was down to their spot at sema last year, and had a good look.I'm sure lots of guys here can comment on the fit.I have turned out a few cars over the years,I have a '68 Charger,I don't know if they're ever finished? LOL.
Nice car, I never seen it around. Brian Murrary was planning on talking to amd at sema as he now a distributor and was going to work on pricing and shipping.
Project is coming along nicely Dean. I like the idea of the green with a black interior. I'm not a big vinyl top guy but everybody has their own opinion. I like the old Cragar SS wheels on these cars. Nice job.
I got a little more time in at the car, or actually I guess the rotisserie. I built a rotisserie and now I should be able to clean up the bottom a little easier.
Got the frame rails and all other areas of original metal underneath the car media blasted and sanded out the new floor pans. Then I sprayed epoxy. I still have to do work on the wheel houses.
Seat brackets blasted and painted, console and seats fitted
Got the seat brackets blasted and painted, then I test fit the seats and console to make sure the console brackets are in the right spot, so far so good.

I decided to polish up my wheel and tires before they are out away, they had a lot of overspray from the previous owner.
