Here are a couple of derelicts that sat for years in a North Texas salvage yard. They were both rescued, hopefully will make it back on the road someday.
The yellow Bee was a FY1, 383, 4-spd, factory a/c car with three speaker dash and some other near options. The purple Bee was a legit FC7 post car, 4spd as well. They were very rough, but had solid frames and the purple car had surprisingly solid floors as well.
Just got the under coat off and ready to blast the bottom<a href="http://s172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/olddog_photos/?action=view¤t=srotriserie016.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/olddog_photos/srotriserie016.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
I found a '70 coronet in a salvage yard in high school... picked it up for $200. Needed a lot of work, ended up doing some trading between my dad and my brother to get with a '70 sport satellite and a '69 sport satellite. I ended up with the '69, my brother got the '70 satellite.
My brother currently has it the '70 coronet. painted it up. he is on here somewhere, maybe he will post up some pics.. my dad has the '70 sport and the '69 is gone.. I went a little more vintage, got a '63 440 2 door post now..
