70 Hemi Superbird Restoration..................errr.....scratch that........

It does look a bit ridiculous, and I'm really tired of this stage of the build!
I'm in a slump with my build myself, not tired but still waiting on a painter. Hang in there, I'm trying to. Your mad skills are producing great stuff!

As well as your Charger turned out, you should paint that bad boy yourself!
I'm forging through this phase of the build to get back to the sheet metal work. This other stuff just never ends. Today we added several GoPro camera mounts, a helmet hook, a steering wheel hook, and retrofitting adjustable pedals to the project list, lol.

Thanks, I'm no good at painting and gloss black would be impossible for me. I still have to weld my shoulder belt tabs on my taxi bar, but will have to put the bar and seats back in to make sure the placement is right. Maybe I'll go ahead and do those. Then I could paint my roll bar, maybe.

The view from the passenger window shows just how full of tubing this car really is.

Thanks. It is a somewhat complex set of tubes, and will probably be dangerous to even drive on the street, but I don't think I'd want to go 200mph in anything less. It does look a bit ridiculous, and I'm really tired of this stage of the build!

Yes. Be careful driving on the street. A guy on YB was killed a few years ago In an accident where he hit his head on a roll bar while on the streets.

That's sad. I don't want to end up in that situation. I plan on adding SFI padding inside the funny car cage.

That's going to be a fun car, love it

wow...wow...wow, pure awesome sauce!!!!! if you take that on the streets, i will be amazed that you still have a drivers license at the end of the day...lmao

Cage looks great, nice work as normal...

Dash bar is in. Hoping it doesn't conflict with any of my other planned additions like air conditioning!

Awesome metal work!! I'm not sure about other A/C system but don't think Vintage Air system will clear your dash bar. I have a few pictures of my Vintage Air system mounted with the dash off if you need them?
Pat

Thanks Pat, a picture or two would be great as would a dimension from the firewall. The bar is currently 10.25" from the firewall. My plan was to use a universal type street rod kit as I think they're pretty compact.

It looks as though the classic auto street rod cooler II kit will fit with room to spare.

In this picture you can see the mount is flush with bottom of the dash flange, and it is also mounted to the fire wall. A street rod kit would be a better fit!
Thanks
