Made very little progress as my wife's class reunion ate the weekend. I did get some parts stripped off the other car to make sure they fit on this one. Now I've got to order some bending dies for 7/8 and 1" to make upper and lower control arms.

Sweet! I had to weigh my options....go to the NHRA race in St. Louis or go to my wife's reunion so you know where I went! Not racing!
It was plenty hot. People dropping like flies from heat. Farmers Daytona went 2 rnds, white 70 didn't make the field which was 2nd quickest all time with 5.98 bump. 32 cars showed up.

It's plasma. I know another guy with a laser, but he usually wants a CAD file and then I have to wait until he runs a batch of that thickness material and hope he has room to nest it in. The plasma just needs a little edge clean up here and there and it's good enough. The hole quality isn't near as good as laser either, but it will work fine. I cut four as I'm going to do two sets of LCAs. One set with lower bushings like the Alterktion uses and one with spherical rod ends. All my Ford friends run rod ends on their aftermarket uppers and lowers.

Wow just found this thread, your doing awesome work! So after watching all the live feeds from Drag Week a couple weeks ago I can't wait to see it in action.

Thanks. The one rule keeping me out of that class is the No Funny Car Cage rule so I get bumped to Super Street Big Block power adder.

Very true. The Street Race class is limited to 8.50 and I want to eventually go high 7's so I'm building it for that.
