As always, I love all the fab work here - Nice job!Very true. Problem solved.
I'll drill the telescoping tubes and use pins. Pull four pins and untwist an electrical connector and the nose will pull off. There will also be a latch tray type panel and a lower valance panel held on with 1/4 turn fasteners. With the nose off and those two panels removed, I'll be able to work on the engine right up at the radiator yoke.As always, I love all the fab work here - Nice job!
Are you going to drill and pin them in, or what will hold the nose in place?
Santa was very good to me! Copy anything you like. I'm trying to keep this thing from being a tank. These tubes are much lighter than the factory getup.Santa was good to you! If/when I finish my current project/68charger my next dream is to get a 69 charger and make a clona. I'll be copying a lot of your ideas, like your nose attachment.. Very cool!
Thanks Pat. Now I have to build an extension for the rotisserie to accommodate that big nose....Very cool removable Beak ;-)

The Dodge Daytona clones use the vega hatch and window for their plugs. The superbird is different. My original plan was to use a reproduction AMD glass but I just can't get over the huge price tag. I found a couple of other places selling laminated glass units but once the AMD came out, those guys thought they could also charge AMD prices. My plan now is to cut my own from a piece of Optic Armor. What do you use for glass? I thought I remembered someone saying they used a Vega rear window.
