25.3 chassis cert good for 6.50 which is about a second faster than the car will ever be capable of.Spent some coin!! Plus the full monte coating
What cert you going with??
Saw that on Facebook. Awesome car! Mine isn’t quite that radical!
I have plenty of time, so no concern there. It’s going to be 4.25 stroke for 540 cubes. If you have the time to wait a billet is the way to go,did you mention what stroke you plan on? I went 4.5.
This block was 4.495 with a questionable hone and some surface rust specs. I ordered the pistons for 4.50 bore and will be honing it. I’m going to be using the Holley Dominator EFI and have a bit of a learning curve as most of my experience is with older systems on NA engines. I’ve destroyed all kinds of parts over the years, hoping to avoid that with this engine.I went with a for smaller bore and bigger stroke.Leaves more in the hole for next time.
It not "IF",,,,,,,it's when
I sonic tested my iron M block in my other car and it can go 4.400 but I doubt it ever does. It’s at 4.350 now. This engine is an aluminum world products block. Some of the M blocks can go to 4.5 bore before sleeving is needed.I don't want to EVER sleeve a block.Right now I'm qt 4.380 and room to grow.
They’re 66mm gates. This combo will spool quick with the big cube/small turbo combo. Keeping boost accurate at low levels and high back pressure requires big gates. It also puts the right equipment in place for larger turbos once I get a handle on this thing with these little 76’s.Those are some big wastegates!
Billet is $4K. That won’t happen lol.If you have the time to wait a billet is the way to go,did you mention what stroke you plan on? I went 4.5.
Anytime.... you may get put to work though. HahahaI need to come over some weekend to view this beauty!
