It’ll have paint on it this spring and the roller will be done then. The transmission is built, need a converter, and I’m swapping the engine over from my other car. Hopefully we’re testing at the track by September. Is it going to be ready this spring?
Thanks… good to know. For next time, the '70 charger one will work by drilling a new hole...
I know there's a good reason for it, but why does it look like that wheel and tire are bolted on backwards?Apparently, they don’t reproduce the funky front marker light retainers for the coronet and I can’t find the used one I had so out come the fab tools and a piece of 2x2 .083 wall. Nothing like reinventing the wheel…

It is bolted on backwards. It’s the only way these wheels will fit. The steering arms are longer and will clear the 17x4.5” wheels I plan on running but won’t work with these wheels unless they’re on backwards. You can see here I have a set of borrowed race wheels on it and they fit great.I know there's a good reason for it, but why does it look like that wheel and tire are bolted on backwards?

That young guy is my buddy Mike’s son Dylan. He’s a die hard car nut and all around talented kid. The old guy is my buddy Mike. I’m the photographer, I’m better behind the camera than in front of it lol.View attachment 1796922
You look awfully young to be working on a project like this. It's a good thing that old guy is helping you out.
Looks to flat in the front. What about the old Stockcar style?I’m really undecided as to whether or not I like the chin spoiler. It’ll look much better when it’s trimmed up and painted black.

More angle forward would definitely help with the look. It’s 3 separate pieces that bolt to the nose and two that bolt to the fenders. I’m gonna finish this and see how I like it as I can always make another. One of the primary goals for this car was the standing mile which needs all the air out from under the car so we’ll see how this works out. The other dilemma is that the nose is removable and the chin spoiler has to act as a stand
What about making a pin in stand out of pipe. Then you can put on it's back. The other dilemma is that the nose is removable and the chin spoiler has to act as a stand
