I think this is where my project goes, it's a 70 roller, tubbed, full cage, fuel cell and will wood disc brakes all the way around. I plan on doing it my way, cartoon style extra stickers and custom dust trail. Here we go it was 383 auto. console car,red I believe. I plan on going back to red a 413 or 440 6bbl setup, auto keeping the console, adding air grabber hood. Here's some pictures of how it was when I got it.

The first picture was the craigslist one it was in Albany NY listing, but title was Florida 1991,which is interesting because all the parts are bagged and tagged from that point and mileage is only a few thousand miles less than the odometer now.

Looks solid, and that will make it much nicer to work on. Keep at it, I hope you’ll find it smooth sailing!

Looks like a nice starting point project. It's a whole lot nicer than my 70 R.R. project.

If you look closely at seat pictures you can see the first thing I did was remove front half of cage and had to remove cross bar from Behind the seat I'm 6'3" and the seat wasn't going back so i could sit in car comfortably. Then parts collecting starts,I found a add for a short block 440 w6 bbl. Setup ? Short block with intake called man said heads included but was newer block not hp and cast intake . Got there saw the pistons ,looked at I'd pad d 440 heads 906s offered $900 deal! Grabbed intake painted orange with carbs and linkage just started smiling lightest cast intake I ever lifted. Stopped to eat took off wire holder over the id pad smiling again hp.

Back on trailer my painter came and picked up the car about middle of September still has he's in Maryland covid 19 isn't helping the progress !red with black stripes is what I'm doing last picture not mine

I've had this car since 2017 so that is why I have a lot to post I also scored a new steering wheel and center pad don't recall the details but was a decent deal, mine was a mess. The roadrunner stickers are for the rear qtrs. ,I going to put them where super bee emblems are located .I don't want factory dust trail but I am going to put a custom one on the side. Grandson driving

Nice stuff !! FYI, that looks like a '69 smooth wheel and horn pad. It's smaller in diameter than a '70 where it meets the column collar.

Me to I never thought I'd be able to afford one but I guess since it has no fender tag and was tubbed and caged not as many people interested, just how I like them!

I scored a pass. Side seat here from Rick68b5 his dad got me a 70 charger one .Here's what a good guy his dad is ,he knew I was going to be at the end of summer cruise OC Maryland he brought the seat ,wouldn't take anything for it said he'd take a ride my way about 3hr drive and trade for parts I told him I had, never seen anything I had or ever been to my house before!Well 3or 4 months later he called came up and got what he needed. Just awesome! Some 70 pictures from that car show and my seat in my hotel room.

Ok finally up to date. Well now I'm trying to decide which engine to use and which heads.Engines I had already a pretty wild 62 413 that I bought mainly for long tube cross ram intake that was on it .It has some high comp.arco pistons regular bore, homemade deep sump oil pan, adjustable rockers, the heads have been ported heavily, lightweight push rods, light as a feather. Originally bought it for my other project 55 dodge step side.
