My first car was a 65 Dart Coupe 225 automatic! It went over 300,000 miles. It never had any trans service it's whole life!

However, my 6th car was A 70 Dodge Challenger RT 383 4 speed. The 5th was a 66 Charger 318 Auto (Sorry, No Pictures)

I first rode in our 65 dart Gt in 1986. Bought it a few years later, repainted and stuck in a 318 to drive it to college figuring it would be easy on gas. Fenderwell headers went on it today..it's got a roller cammed 440 with trick flow heads and a 5k stall. Not worried about fuel economy this go around. :p

Actually, I had other cars with no pictures that I can find to post up. All Mopar's of course. In thinking about that, I recall a list that someone on here started way back about listing all the vehicles you ever owned. It was years ago & I remember flagging it but can't find it. Anyone remember it??

Your Dart (post#7), reminded me of another big block early Dart I watched race many times.
Being from & still in New Jersey. I recall a 63 Dart with a 426 Hemi in it. It was called "Little Iron". It was owned by a family named Foster, they also had a 66 Coronette. The Dart had a homemade tilt front end molded of fiberglass over a 65 front clip. I never saw them lose a race. He would race a big money guy named Buster Jackson with a Chevy named the "Soul Shaker". I am sure that bobtile might remember them as they were from Morristown & raced at Island Dragway in Independence NJ. I recall marveling about the whole car, the front-end steering was hand made with swivels & stuff from a ratchet set. Totally unique!

My first MoPar was a /6 Demon....yeah a slanty and it was still badass!
I had a Dart that I called the 'NFL' car because I didn't have it long...too hard to pass up someone offering 4 times what I paid for it the year before!

I think I found it:

FBBO cumulative years of Mopar knowledge, experience, passion - Post up your time

I wish I could have put the link here instead. I did, however, put my updated car list on both! I love purple! If I had money & connections; I would have bought a Plum Crazy Viper!
:p

I had an A-body a few times
2) 71 Demon's /6 I traded my stepfather for Mom's 68 Sport Sat. 383 4bbl 4 speed 3.91:1
& a 71 383/727 swapped, 8-3/4" 4.30:1, it was a horrid red (not a fan of reds)

& a (org white/black interior) Duster 440/727 swap, ex-drag car, tubbed & tined,
full cage/street car, the org. owner painted some Nissan blue color

a 68 Formula-S 383 4 speed dark GG1 green, black rocker stripe & interior
I inherited from my uncle, bought new, who passed young,
from complications after Viet Nam

I had a roommate/renter in Pleasant Hill who, we did a 65 Dart G/T white,
with a worked over 440/727 swap, big purple shaft sold .590/310* (IIRC)
2" fender-well headers, 8-3/4" 3,500 Stall 4.56:1 gear swap too, 8" slicks
(small wheelwells) it was quick, but sort of a POS, to start with, but it was fun/cheap

sorry no photos

& if there were they be Polaroids anyway, probably blurry :poke:
