A833 Overdrive on 493 stroker?

no power shifts and go easy on OD
I would not dump the clutch or power shift at all without stock tires

I'd not power shift any trans into OD.

Mine will certainly take a 1-2 power shift.

2-3 is fine under full power but a bit delayed on account of throw through the gates.

Wonder what the OP did since this thread is 4 years old. Perhaps he used the OD trans and is still happy with it. Perhaps he left it scattered all over the autobahn.

I think topics like this fall into the "beggers can't be choosers" category. The OP lives in a place where Mopar parts are hard to find. So he might have to use the OD trans and just live with the compromise. Here in the states I'd never stick a factory OD trans behind a big stroker engine. Well not unless I was stuck in the woods and needed a way to get to town or something like that.........
