Just to clear up a few things id agree calling for gun control isn't the answer now. When i watched the president talk about this attack he right away started with gun control. Sure i thought and how about keeping these scum out of the country in the first place… It just burns my *** that we let theses people in the country,they become legal are afforded all the rights under the constitution and then obtain firearms some of which were legal and kill innocent people----

I find it horrific..I find it disturbing, I find it ironic, and I find it funny(funny stupid, not funny comical) that your first suggestion is to ban gun purchases to a specific race of people, knowing good and well that will NEVER happen in this day-n-age..Your solution to the problem isn't a solution, it's just another avenue to support more gun control, which isn't going to stop this kind of thing from happening..That is what my post was aimed at...

My grandfather was a immigrant to this country and lived across the street from me. He served in WW1 and became a citizen in the thirties. My father quit school to help his family as his father also a immigrant was in poor health. He enlisted when the war (WW2) broke out. He came home worked two jobs day and night and in 59 bought a tiny house were i was raised. The man he was he raised my brother and i to be self sufficient and to always do the right thing which we do. His values passed to me are now passed to my grown children who are all doing well and are independent. So the next time you make dumb assumptions about somebody you might want to reconsider. I am surprised a attorney,a profession i respect would make such statements

Why do you that have chosen too - fight and argue - when at hand we have another horrific tragedy? If someone has a different opinion they're chastised rather than considered. I'm a conservative and live w/I 40 miles of the site. I'm so tired of this fighting both in and out that I think some form of stronger gun control would be logical.

You our want to chastise me - go ahead. I'm sick of all this. Why do people need an AR and thousands of rounds of ammo. Are the Russians still coming? I understand this assault by terrorists is worse because our standing army can't stop them. I'll also say YOU can't stop them in situations like occurred either. There's been more than one mass shooting per day over the last year - what good has - let everyone be armed done and our loose gun laws - done to stop the carnage. I know the answer many of you will give - pry your cold dead fingers from - **** get your heads out of your asses. The good old USA is the only country in the world where this **** occurs. Look inside for an answer. I own 5 weapons that are designed to take down a large mammal. I don't plan on giving any of them up - but I also don't plan on hurting anyone either - unless they threaten my family. I don't need an AR nor do I need thousands of rounds of ammo to protect my family.

Go ahead and jump on my *** for being different. That would be consistent with the new USA. I could go on and on - I'm just tired of it all. Something needs to change. And it ain't me - I've already changed.
