Hey all,I'm looking for any one that can tape or burn a show called Inside Brant for me, it's on tonight at 11:00pm on Rogers cable 20... I'm on it live for Habitat for Humanity and have no way to watch it or tape it my self lol....Were 3rd up, first they will have the SPCA then a bit about Ice cream then us I wouldn't mind a copy from start to finish if possible My part should only be about 5 minutes or so long.Thank's to any helpers, my mom will love you for it lol :) I'll be the nervous guy on the right of the couch ha ha.

A friend of a friend made a copy for me...Funny no one seems to have a VCR these days and you can't burn any thing on a DVD player...What a rip off lol.

I bought an $80 usb device that has a coax input and comes with software to durn your computer into a non-prporietary DVR with an HD digital tuner. Pinnacle is the brand.

I looked at Tivo and several other DVRs, but they're all either a service with recurring monthy fees, or they're proprietary, so you can't off-load your videos or play them on another device.

The software is a bit clunky, but the videos are great and can be played on just about any computer, and can be burned to DVD.

For the record (HA) I do still own a Sony stereo VCR, but just set by the curb a matching pair of Sony "near studio quality" HiFi stereo VCRs with adjustable audio record levels.
