I have probably over 600 of the little suckers...

Hell yeah! That's so cool. Seems more expensive per cubic inch than a real car!

Don't have a track any more, but managed to save my favorite car from decades ago.

NICE JOB, Me too just dug these out to display after having them stored for 40 plus years (notice the Mopars, white 68 charger in the upper left hand corner and the yellow #43 road runner and 67 blue gtx)

Used to have a few and even staged drag racing down the hallway of our house when living at home but dad wanted it all up by the time he got home from work. I sold it all when I got my driver's license. Got a RC helicopter for Christmas. At least it only flies for several minutes between charges so that way I'm not wasting so much time playing vs getting some work done lol

Awesome!!! I used to have a bunch back in the day, then I left them at a friends house and they moved!!!! Never saw the cars again!

That's a cool collection. I wish I saved all mine, but I sold them to get some money to buy my first car.

Here is one of my newer cars, my race set has been boxed away.

Wasn't sure at first if you were talking HO scale or 1/16th scale. I've had both and they were always a blast. The ones you posted are very cool. Mine evolved into R/C racing. 1/10th scale off road to be exact. My ex-wife always called me a nerd for racing "toys", it's refreshing to know I'm not the only nerd out there lol.

My father in law used to do 1/24 slot car drag races. The coolest thing he made was an all wheel drive Dodge Magnum wagon. Not the fastest thing, but sure looked cool going down the track.

Dad and I play once in awhile in his shop. He still has his sets from when he was a kid, every winter as i grew up he would bring them out and we would set them up in the basement. We just got a new Carrera Evolution set, cars are expensive at 50 bucks each but they are so detailed

I still have some 1/24 brass plate chassis cars i built in the 70s. I loved them as a kid. Everytime I pass a track i feel the pull to go in. Just spotted one in south west Detroit last week.

I use to love them, haven't played with them for 35+ years now, had a few metal flake Gold Chapperal Cars & candy red GT40's that were fast as hell, had the soft white rubber tires & custom sprung frames/chassis my step dad made out of brazing rod, custom wound motors, larger brushes... I use to go to a place Buzy Bees in Concord great race track, great cars, great hobby & allot of people back, active in the mid 60's - late 70's, I had a big carry case, I made out of 1/4 plywood, had drawers & a work platform, that carried all my spare parts, in drawers/cubby holes, a section for the bodies, a section for the cars etc..... brings back good/fond memories...

this is at Larry's Hobby shop.... was there last Saturday...Im thinking my son and I will be buying some cars soon

I recently pulled this set out of the basement. Needs some repair. I remember playing with this on the Ping pong table in my folks house as a kid

I used to race amateur 1/24 and 1/32 scale slot cars. I was in a couple leagues at a local track (Lucky Bob's). I actually won the very first race on their new (at the time, like 2000-ish) figure 8 track. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of my cars.

1/24 I ran in the Sportsman class, we used model car bodies. I actually used a '59 Caddilac for a while, it would take up 2 lanes when it got sideways! They ended up banning that body since it made it nearly impossible to pass me on the turns.

1/32 I ran "Womps" which were basically Le Mans style, thin lexan bodies with big spoilers.
