I live near a moderately sized airport and most of the early evening there was a small one engine plane looping around the place continuously. I figure it was the civil air patrol patrolling the airspace.
I doubt that pilot was "warm and cozy" at altitude making the onerous rounds. Poor guy ( generalization).

Not uncommon to see F-15s around here on daily patrol missions either. I'm sure glad about that!

I assume that they are full size miniature drones as pictured, and why one needs to be a good shot.

This news story was intriguing. The drones are definitely not trying to be covert, with the lights flashing. They want to be seen. It makes me wonder if they're American drones, but you'd think they'd issue a public notice about them to avoid causing paranoia and ultimately, have hunters start shooting them down. But if they're from China (one report said they flew in from the ocean), you'd wonder why they wouldn't be unlighted and so obvious...unless they WANT to make Americans aware that they are being spied on...

That's the same problem I have with ufo lights in the sky. Some aliens come from light years away and surveil us secretly but leave all the lights on in their spaceship. Naaah don't think so.

BTW, I'm becoming more and more convinced we we're the only, or first intelligent life in the universe. There just has to be so many unlikely circumstances that must occur. Just the jump to single cell and then to multiple cell organisms is HUGE! I've heard experts say if we ever do find life it will just be ooze.

Just to see a planet with any form of light that's not reflected from a star would be huge but we can't find one.

That doesn't mean I believe any Bible story creation with miracles. Every culture has their own creation story.

They likely know we will "shoot first" with a little research on their part, and what intelligent beings would want to socialize with any group with that mindset?

who knows, some people have claimed what they have been told & briefed
that isn't what, is televised by the media/or powers to be, at the pulpit
if that was the case, probably Russian built & ran/flown too
(that make me believe it's our people spying on someone or something)
12 miles off the coast (international waters)
is nothing for a sophisticated drone to cover & easily get back "to the mothership"...

we are being treated like mushrooms, fed full of BS & kept in the dark

Messy & they'd have to clean up all the private property they wrecked
that nasty red stuff (vegetable & minerals based fire depressants)
doesn't wash off very easily at all, especially after it dries at all...

& another out by/over Edwards AFB Ca.
allegedly an illegal alien/s, noncitizen/s, no green card/s, no visa, no nothing
he was flying & "allegedly" spying, flying a some sort of commercial 'style drone'
pretty big deal, like 6'- 8' big
maybe one of the "migrants" from China (?) 10's of thousands that flooded accross
since Jan 2021, down below around San-Diego border wall ends or in the high dessert
it's happening right under our noses, like it's no big deal

Even a helicopter with a big bucket/rubber bag deal, on a tether,
release right over them
alot like Cal-Fire use here in the Sierras
fast refills out of a pool, pond (ones/drones reported over by the golf course)
or lake, stream etc.
