Anyone successful with 275's on the front of 2nd gen charger?

Tire rotation worries is more of a 75 valiant 4 door owner type thing.
These are performance cars.

Thought I'd follow up this thread in case anyone searches later. 275-50/15 front tires fit great on my 69 charger. I used a 4.5" back space. No rubbing even under spirited driving and only just barely cleaned the dust off from the tie rod end under extreme autocross conditions with a sticky tire. I'm confident a street tire would never have enough grip to even get that far. I did install 1/8" spacers for this but I ran a whole autocross day without them and it wasn't a serious problem.

They track great, don't hunt down the road. Everything I've read about 245 or 255 tires being the widest tire possible and anything wider causes drivabilty issues is incorrect.
