Bad Day Racing

Just got back from musclepalooza at lebanon valley dragway, I should of stayed home! Pits were at mess from the aftermath of hurricane Irene-(dust all morning) -then rain right before eliminations, -(humidity you could cut with a knife)- after waiting it cleared up in time to hurt the motor in the first round. Think I broke a valve spring and maybe bent a valve too. I'll know for sure when I open it up during the week. I hope somebody had a better day at the track today........... :icon_hang:

I got up and was tightening up my straps in the trailer at 6:30am when i had my usual late august/early september asthma attack. this one was bad. had to use the inhaler today and stayed in the a/c all day. it was bad out.
sorry to hear about your misfortune.
i knew it was going to be a horrible day.
was it crowded?

the last flood it was the same way dust all over, you had to run with an air filter. I hope it clears out before the next nendra race on the 10th.

Didn't miss nothing

Even with the weather there was a decent crowd, but all in all with the weather and conditions it was miserable. You didn't miss nothing!!!!

I would be impressed if it is good on the 10th it was a real mess today, dust all over pits, return road, staging lanes, everywhere. That place was really under water after this last storm.......

AND i dont run air cleaners on my crossram setup. terrific. maybe it will get cleaned up by next saturday.
