Hello, Helene...you b%*%$ (Short Ed Musings, Noah-inspired)

But hey - $750 is something, right?
A person can buy a darn nice tent to freeze their asses off in with that kind of money...

As someone who has been knee deep in some of the regional efforts, I can speak somewhat as to what
agencies have been involved and to what extent, so yeah....
Better yet though, I challenge you to go get muddy and freeze your arse off by going through western NC
or parts of the other affected states (including my own - we're only an hour away from some of the worst
damages).

No, perhaps best yet - spend an hour researching what those actually affected are reporting, showing, saying...
they can fill your ears if you like.
What I specifically recommend you don't do is rely on the usual leftist "news" organizations (like the Tennessean,
which is unapologetically left) or self-serving federal agencies (like FEMA, whose leader famously told folks they
didn't have any budget left to help at one point).

There are actual by-God MIRACLES happening down there still to this day; some charitable groups have basically
dropped everything and live down in affected areas full-time now, rendering aid 24/7.
Local and state efforts are there too - but the feds? Dog and pony show....

The people there and the organizations actually working down there know.
You don't.
My family donated items and money and volunteered through the church. These folks still need help. Thanks Ed.

When the flood came through here, a 1,000 sq ft welding shop with corrugated tin walls and roof was washed away. The man jumped through the hoops and got a $1 million loan at 1% interest. He built a nice shop on higher ground and was in business until he retired. FEMA can't force people to work in their own self interest.
Boy... do I have a Florida real estate deal for you!
